Who’s ready for some chat and on-set photos!?!? It’s been a little over a month since my amazing Disney and ABC Press trip to Los Angeles…seems like yesterday that I was touring the set of ABC’s Steamy and Sassy Summer Drama, Mistresses!
It is just SO crazy how HUGE the sets look on TV! We got to take a peek into Savi and Harry’s Kitchen, April’s Shop and Savi and Dom’s Law Office. It’s so amazing how magical these TV sets really are…just being on them, knowing that the day before OR in a few hours, your favorite TV stars will be hard at work on them…living out our favorite scenes!
Unfortunately, April’s Shop, Maison Sur Mer, was closed at the time of our visit, so the ladies weren’t around, having their usual girl-talk. :( 
But check out these amazing set photos! April’s Shop had to be MY FAVORITE part of the set visit! Isn’t it beautiful? I LOVE how “Anthropologie-Like” her shop is!
So, what does “Maison Sur Mer” mean? It’s French for “House on Sea”. 
Here are a couple pics of Savi and Harry’s Kitchen. I was SO happy with how these turned out…the lighting was so low on the set, since they weren’t shooting at that time. SO many memories in this kitchen…. 
Speaking of memories…lol…how about this one from Season 1 of Mistresses?

As we began our tour of the Mistresses set, we were greeted by THIS friendly face… 
And what a great face that is! Jason George had a little informal chat with us on the set of Dom and Savi’s Law Office.
It was so funny to learn how he came to be on the show! He was at a Birthday Party…the SAME birthday party that the Mistresses Producer, Rina Mimoun, was attending. They got to chatting and the rest is Mistresses history…and future! ;)
It was also nice to hear that on Dom’s desk at the Law Office, are photos of Jason’s REAL kids! That’s just so darn cute! Of course, they don’t show the photos, but just knowing that his REAL kids are in those pictures on his character’s desk… Just love that!
We were also able to visit an on-location shoot with Joss (Jess Macallan) and a mega-HOT new character, Scott, played by the insanely gorgeous, Justin Hartley! 
Justin Hartley… Ahhhhh… OH! Sorry. Totally went off into la-la land! I mean, how can you NOT…looking at this guy?!? When we were on-location, we were able to meet Jess and Justin and just have a casual little chat, in between scenes.
Then, it was time for the “QUIET ON THE SET” warning and it was time for another scene! We were able to watch a scene between Joss and Scott. It was just…awesome! I can’t tell you what we saw in the scene, since they were filming the 8th or 9th episode of the season, but I CAN tell you that Scott is Joss’ NEW love interest in the show.
In my opinion…it looks like an AMAZING match and I will be rooting for them!
There are MANY changes in store for Joss. Not only does she get to have a relationship with the hunky Scott (Justin Hartley), she starts to take on some party-planning as a career and becomes more of a responsible woman, compared to what we saw in Season 1. Didn’t it seem like she was all over the place? Like, more known as the “party girl” or just not really grounded in her life?
There will also be plenty more steamy scenes with our favorite men of Mistresses!
OH! And of course, more girl talk and that amazing bond between the ladies that we ALL love about this show! I love that the ladies get-together a couple of times during the show and talk about what’s going on with them. You know… just the girls! It’s THAT bond that I love most about the show. Through all of their trials and tribulations, they know they can count on each other and they don’t sugar-coat advice. THAT is what a TRUE friend does. NO Sugar-Coating!
The 2nd Episode of Season 2 of MISTRESSES airs TONIGHT at 10/9 Central on ABC!
